Radio Nepal

Radio Nepal is the first Radio station of Nepal. Radio Nepal was established on April 1, 1951. The broadcasting and transmission was lasted for 4 and half hours in the begining. The transmission was done through a 250 Watt short-wave transmitter.

Radio Nepal has increased its capacity significantly and advanced in terms of programs' format, technical efficiency and range of listeners. Now, Radio Nepal airs programs on short wave, Medium Wave and FM frequencies.
